YOGA
Yoga is a healing system of theory and practice. It is a combination of breathing exercises, physical postures, and meditation that has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. Yoga originates from the Sanskrit words root "yuj" which means union. Yoga is union of the body, mind, emotions, and intellect. The practice of Yoga results in improvement in the quality of life, manifest in being healthier, looking better, feeling better, reduced stress, increased happiness, inner calmness, and contentment with life.
Yoga binds our soul with the extreme soul "The God", it binds our mind with body. Yoga signifies the union of the individual soul with universal Consciousness or, in the language of the Upanishads, with the uncreated, all-pervading Brahman.
Yoga is the remedy, its surest way to prevent from physical as well as psychological disease. Yoga improves the organ function of the body and improves the internal environment of the body. Yoga changes the person's attitude towards positive healthy life. We also conduct yoga class in Melbourne.
ASHTANG YOGA (EIGHT YOGIC PRACTICES)
There are eight stages of Yoga as suggested by the Ancient Great Saint Patanjali . These are known as Ashtanga Yoga (Eight Yogic Practice). These are responsible for the purity of Mind, Body and Soul and are path to unite with God.
Prior to practicing yoga asana, Pranayama and meditation, it is also desirable and necessary to detoxify and purify the body. Toxic properties accumulate in the body for a number of reasons. If these toxins are not eliminated from the body, one would not get the desired benefits of Yogasana and pranayama.The Yoga Shastra has shown six types of techniques (The Kriyas) of internal purification.
They are known as:(1)- Neti (2) Dhauti (3) Nauli (4)Basti (5) Tratak (6 )Kapalbhati.Aftre the these six kriyas ,regular practices of Yoga Ashan ,pranayama(Breathing Excersise) and Meditation ,you will get perfect health.
After that start the EIGHT YOGIC PRACTICES:-
1-YAMA (Self –restraint):-This is 1st principal of Ashtang Yoga,It mines following yam divert the senses and mind from violence and other banal feelings or awful feelings and concentrate them on soul. According to saint Patangali its divided in to five divisions as below: it very good for the Mental Purifications.
(A)Ahinsa(Non-violence)
(B)Satya (Truthfulness)
(C) Asteya (Abstinence from sealing possessions of others)
(D) Brahmacharya (Observance of Celibacy)
(E) Aparigraha ((Abstinence from possessing unwanted things)
2-NIYAMA (Scriptural Rule):-This is 2nd basic factor in Ashtang Yoga. it very good for the Physical Purifications. it is five types.
(A) Shaucha (Purity)
(B)Santosh (Contentment)
(c) Tapas (Penance)
(D) Swadhyay ( Regular Study of the Vedas)
(E) Ishwar Pranidhyan (Deep devotion towards God)
3- ASANAS (Postures):-Setting in a sidhaasana, Bajraasana or Sukhasana or any other comfortable poses called the asana .The posture are extremely important for the devotion, Mediations and worship. Practices of these asana .our spines should remain straight while practicing any meditations. A place which is quit peaceful gets fresh air, free from insects and floor even is ideal for the practicing for asanas. There are many people who claim to be a “Yogi” by doing a few asana and some people do believes in them. But it is just myth. Yogasaana are only part of Yoga.
Hath Yoga describes 84 types of different these asanas. These asana balances you physical and mental health. Regular practices of these asana, entire your body gets activated and becomes flexible and healthy. As well asana are very important to heal the different health problem.
